I originally made these floating candles for my nephew's Harry Potter birthday party. But aren't they great as a DIY Halloween decoration, a fun easy Summerween activity, or any cozy book party? 🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯 They're really easy to make.
Six easy steps!
- Collect old paper towel and toilet paper rolls.
- Use hot glue to make it look like dripping wax.
- Paint rolls white.
- Add illusion bead cord (see below)
- Add flameless tea lights (see below)
- Display proudly and enjoy your book themed party! 👻
Please feel free to comment below if you have any questions on how to make them.
These are similar to the purchased items I used. These product photos are from Amazon.

And one with the pup... he's not happy about his Halloween "costume."
