DIY Baseball Party Ideas

It's already August, but it's still summer and it's still baseball season! If you're looking for something fun to do today, here are some quick, easy, and cheap DIY ideas for a baseball-themed party. It's perfect for baseball watch parties, birthday parties, or any summer day!

My nephew picked out all of the decorations for his baseball-themed birthday party!
We went to Dollar Tree for the best deals, but you can be more sustainable by using what you have or you can support small business by shopping local or if you're looking for accessibility + affordability, you can find a world of options on Amazon.
We purchased:
Red streamers
White paper plates
Green tablecloth
Red cups/napkins
Bases and baseball

DIY Baseball Banner!
One of the baseball party decorations we made was a baseball banner using paper plates, streamers, and a marker! This is a super easy DIY project the kids can make.
The instructions are HERE but you can probably figure it out yourself!
Photo Poster for Guest of Honor
We also made a poster for our guest of honor with family photos. We wrote "Home is where the heart is" and "There's no place like home" on the poster!
I took a photo before we added photographs out of respect for family members' privacy. :-)
We used an old board we already had and traced home plate that we purchased at Dollar Tree, drew over with marker, and then added photos! Another easy baseball craft the kids can do!
Table Setup!
We used the green tablecloth and bases to decorate the table like a baseball field!

Baseball Cupcakes!
Another fun baseball activity for the kids!
Just make cupcakes, top with vanilla frosting, and then decorate with red icing to turn into baseballs!
Looking for more natural frosting? Make your own vanilla frosting and use natural food dye, available at many grocery stores, including Whole Foods and Amazon.
